I am happy to introduce the new package for our Benifuki Allergy Relief Green Tea Powder.

The tea inside is exactly the same Benifuki you have loved for years, and it now comes in a 50g (1.8 oz) resealable pouch.

Isn't the package nice?

It now matches our Benifuki tea bags and Benifuki candy, so the whole Benifuki family finally looks like one set.

And with the zipper, you can close it tightly after each use and scoop out just what you need.

Why We Are Retiring the 14 Stick Packs

We are retiring the 14 stick powder packs, which have the same powder in a 14-stick package. 

Our Benifuki stick packs have served our customers for more than a decade, and I am grateful to everyone who made them one of our most popular teas. 

But production costs in Japan have kept rising, and continuing the 14-stick package is no longer sustainable.

So we are moving forward with the new packaging and a larger 50g size.

We will keep selling the stick packs until they are retired toward the end of 2026, while stock lasts.

With this, the cost per cup actually significantly decreases.

14 Stick Packs vs. the New 50g Pouch

Both use the same amount of tea per cup, 0.6 g. The difference is that one pouch holds about six times as much tea, so each cup costs about $0.30 instead of about $1.21.

How to Drink It

Stir 1/3 teaspoon (0.6 g) of powder into 3.3 oz (100 ml) of hot water (175°F / 80°C) or cold water. You do not need a teapot or strainer, and it also mixes well into milk.

The subscription option for the stick packs has stopped, so it is no longer possible to start a new stick-pack subscription.

If you are currently subscribing, please switch to the new 50g pouch. If you have not switched yet, we will contact you individually before the stick packs are retired, so nothing changes without you hearing from us.
