Matcha - Japanese Powdered Green Tea (抹茶)

Matcha (抹茶) is the tea we're proudest of. Both of our matchas come from the same farm, where the soil is enriched with sugarcane — a growing method that gives the leaves their distinctive natural sweetness.

Limited Reserve is the first crop — the prized spring picking — and it's the matcha that won the Global Tea Champion award in both 2018 and 2025. Ceremonial grade comes from the same farm and the same careful processing, from later harvests, which makes it the everyday matcha for many of our customers — whisked straight, in lattes, or in baking. If you want to taste what a world-champion matcha is like, start with Limited Reserve; if you'll be drinking it daily, Ceremonial is the workhorse.
