I hope your week is starting well and that you’re enjoying the fall.
We have a couple of exciting things to share.
Please read on.
First -
Thank You for Visiting Us at OC Japan Fair
Thank you so much to everyone who came to OC Japan Fair last weekend and visited our booth on Nakamise Street!
It was so nice to meet you in person.
We made a short video from the weekend.
OC Japan Fair 2026: Our Booth on Nakamise Street
If you missed us this time, I hope we can see you at the next one!

Introducing Corporate Gifts
If you have a list of people to thank, we can now put together Japanese gifts for every one of them.
Your team. Your clients. The partners who helped you this year.
And it doesn’t have to be a company. If you send gifts to a long list of family and friends every year, that works too!
We have quietly done this for some of our wholesale customers for years.
But this is the first time we are offering it to everyone.
One order can mix award-winning green tea and matcha, Sumiyaki coffee, Japanese wine and handmade knives, with one quote and one invoice.
Gwen, our Concierge, takes care of everything, from the first idea to the day each gift arrives.

Japanese Wine Co. Featured on Arigato Travel
Our good friends and long-time partner at Arigato Travel featured Japanese Wine Co. on their blog!
Kristian-san from their marketing team interviewed me about how the wine shop started, our two wineries, food pairing and more.
And I have a confession. I almost missed it!
Lauren-san at Arigato told me she loves Grace Wine, and they even run a wine tour in Yamanashi, where Grace is made.
What a small world! (^^)
I wrote the whole story on our blog, with a link to the full interview.
Fourth -
New Video: 7 Bizen Swords of Japan’s Most Famous Warlords
A new History of Katana video is out today.
One of these swords was burned black in the 1923 Great Kanto Earthquake, and many believed it was lost for decades.
It went on show again in 2015.
And the top two passed through the hands of Oda Nobunaga himself.

See Us First on Google
I have a small favor to ask.
Google now lets you choose your favorite websites as “preferred sources.”
When you add us, our articles show up at the top of your search results and AI summaries, so you can find them easily.
It takes about 10 seconds.
1. Click the link below. You may be asked to log in to Google first.
2. Check the box next to Japanese Green Tea Co.
That’s it!
Add Japanese Green Tea Co. on Google
Enjoy our coffee, wine or knives too? You can add Japanese Coffee Co., Japanese Wine Co. and Dream of Japan the same way.
Thank you so much for doing this. It really helps a small family business like ours.
Thank you very much again for trusting and following us.
I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week!
With love and gratitude,
Kei Nishida
& the team from Dream of Japan
