  Mandheling Berkat Lingtong is a coffee bean with a very special origin. Its name, Berkat Lingtong, in the Indonesian language means "the blessing of Lingtong”, undoubtedly a well-deserved name. It is produced in the Lingtong Nihuta district which lies to the south of Lake Toba in North Sumatra. At an altitude of 1350m to 1400m, a lush coffee jungle spreads out on a special cultivation area, and this is where “the blessing of Lingtong” is grown with love and care. This area is specifically used only for Lingtong coffee variety and has been separated from the more widely produced Mandheling coffee variety.

  On this extremely fertile, free of artificial chemicals, and humus-rich soil, the Lingtong coffee shade trees are luxuriously planted at 4-meter intervals. This plantation design ensures that the trunks of the coffee trees are thick, straight, and healthy even after thirty years. During the season, these trees produce large, bright red coffee cherries.
  

  The coffee cherries are carefully cultivated by about 40 local families who deliver them from their houses to a fine selection factory. The coffee is processed using the traditional Sumatran method, hand-picking, and screen sorting, and becomes Sapporo coffee Kan’s original specialty coffee.

  Instead of the deep flavors found in the usual Mandheling coffees, this coffee has a more crisp taste and cleaner mouthfeel but at the same time retains a rich aroma and has a pleasant bittersweet taste that spread slowly inside the mouth and lingers on the back of the palate.

We ship all our fresh green tea to you from our warehouse in Washington via USPS.   For Canada, UK, and Australia, we ship items to our warehouse in each country and ship to you within the country; therefore, you do not need to pay import duty like purchasing from other companies.

  Damaged Goods:

If you notice any damage, please take a picture of the damaged material and send the photos to Returns@JapaneseGreenTeaIn.com. We will make sure that you receive the replacement product as soon as possible. 

  Missing Goods:

  Cancellation & Returns:

  We understand that we all change our minds sometimes. You can cancel your order within 48 hours of the purchase at no cost. We will simply refund you the full amount. After 48 hours, cancellation is subject to a $10 administration fee whether the item has been shipped or not. If your order is already shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for return shipping charges. A refund will be credited to your credit card which you originally used to place the order.
